About This Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Hospice Care team. As a member of our team, you will provide personalized patient care services to patients in private homes or skilled nursing facilities, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care services to assigned patients, including bathing, shampooing, nail and foot care, oral hygiene, and assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
  • Aid patients' mobility and perform range of motion activities on extremities as outlined in the Plan of Care.
  • Clean and maintain patient areas, changing linens and doing patient laundry as needed.
  • Prepare and serve meals or snacks as directed, assisting patients as needed to eat or drink.
  • Leave necessary supplies for patients, including creams, lotions, and briefs.
  • Communicate with patients and assess their living conditions and body conditions, ensuring the area is safe.
Requirements
  • Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant curriculum.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant in hospice care, home health, acute care, or skilled nursing facility.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Clear/active Certified Nursing Assistant License.
  • Maintain current, valid Driver's License with a safe driving record and reliable vehicle.
  • Basic Life Support Certification.

Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
