We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team at Swedish Ballard. As a Float Pool Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in various departments and provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients of all ages, from infants to geriatric patients, in a variety of settings, including medical-surgical, critical care, and emergency departments.
- Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care and satisfaction.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Washington State Registered Nurse license.
- National Provider BLS certification.
- At least one year of experience as a Float Pool Nurse or in a similar role.
