Engineering Support Specialist

At Future Electronics Corp., we are seeking an Engineering Support Specialist who will be instrumental in enhancing our operational efficiencies across various sectors including labor management, warehouse optimization, automation, and beyond.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Formulate strategies for Warehouse Management System (WMS) enhancements
  • Drive automation initiatives to improve processes
  • Boost storage capabilities and throughput efficiency
  • Oversee improvement projects with a strong emphasis on return on investment (ROI)
  • Set labor benchmarks and perform time-motion analyses

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, ideally in Industrial Engineering
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in a distribution setting
  • Background in facility planning and layout design
  • Expertise in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma methodologies

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Proficient in various computer applications and tools
  • Ability to utilize SQL or Business Intelligence tools for data analysis
  • Strong communication capabilities
  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as necessary
