Banquet Houseperson

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Banquet Houseperson to join our team at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort. As a Banquet Houseperson, you will be responsible for setting up, refreshing, and breaking down meeting spaces to ensure a seamless and successful event experience for our guests.

• Set up meeting spaces with tables, chairs, and other equipment as needed.
• Refresh meeting rooms as needed to ensure a clean and organized environment.
• Break down meeting spaces after events to ensure all equipment and supplies are stored properly.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the banquet function space, pre-function space, and storage areas.
• Transport and store tables, chairs, and other equipment as needed.
• Notify management of any hazards or issues that may impact event success.
• Handle items for "Lost and Found" according to company standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction by providing exceptional service and support.

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or related experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• Ability to stand during entire shift and lift up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Highgate Hotel Standards.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
