Job Summary

Central Carolina Hospital is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Med/Surg Unit. As a member of our healthcare team, you will provide patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living, vital signs, and Accu-checks, under the supervision and direction of the nurse.
  • Monitor vital signs and blood sugars, and document and report any abnormal findings or changes in patient condition.
  • Assist patients with input/output and weights, and provide care appropriate to the condition/age of the patient.
  • Answer call lights, assist with patient admission, transfer, and discharge, and maintain a clean and neat patient room and work environment.
  • Adhere to Central Carolina Hospital's attendance policy and perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of Nursing Assistant Program I
  • Certified Nursing Assistant I
  • BLS certification within 30 days of hire
