We are seeking a highly skilled and accomplished Chief of Gastroenterology to lead our team of gastroenterologists and advanced care providers at Denver Health Medical Center in downtown Denver, CO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive high-quality patient care and advance our mission of serving an urban underserved population.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the gastroenterology team, working closely with the operations director to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Advance the culture of excellence and contribute to strategic planning efforts, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals.
  • Participate in and provide direct clinical care to Denver Health patients, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in gastroenterology.

Qualifications:

  • Current and emerging leaders are encouraged to apply.
  • Completion of a terminal medical degree and board certification in gastroenterology.
  • Ability to be appointed at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor at the University of Colorado, with consideration for Assistant Professor appointments for emerging leaders.

Facility Highlights:

  • Our 300,000 square foot outpatient medical center, opened in 2020, performs 4,500 procedures annually, including colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, and flexible sigmoidoscopy.
  • Diagnostic and interventional procedures such as vibration-controlled transient elastography, capsule endoscopy, and advanced biliary and pancreatic endoscopy are also performed.
