Job Title: Secret SQL Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Developer to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our database team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our relational database management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot SQL queries and stored procedures to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Monitor database services and systems to ensure availability and health, including resource utilization such as memory and CPU usage.
  • Collaborate with software developers to design and optimize database queries and schema.
  • Perform ETL (Extraction, Transacting, and Loading) of data as necessary to support business needs.
  • Diagnose and resolve database management system issues to ensure minimal downtime and maximum availability.
  • Work with system architects and software developers to design and implement database objects, including tables, stored procedures, views, triggers, and indices.
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain database jobs to ensure the health and performance of our database servers.
  • Ensure database server settings are optimized for performance and security.
Requirements:
  • Interim or Active Top Secret clearance.
  • Security+ certification (or equivalent IAT II).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as an SQL Developer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of relational database management systems, including Microsoft SQL Server.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in relational database design, database administration, and/or database server installation and administration.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting database server issues, including performance, connections, and server failures.
