Key Responsibilities:

As a caregiver, you will perform essential personal care tasks that assist clients with their daily living activities. These responsibilities may include:

  • Providing assistance with personal hygiene
  • Supporting ambulation and transfers
  • Helping with dressing and grooming
  • Preparing meals and snacks as directed
  • Accompanying clients on errands or to medical appointments
  • Performing light housekeeping duties

Additionally, you will carry out specific tasks as instructed by a Right at Home nurse, which may involve:

  • Reminding clients to take their medications
  • Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
  • Caring for clients who are bed-bound
  • Providing incontinence care
  • Utilizing lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Hoyer lifts
  • Background in personal care
  • Knowledge of range of motion exercises
  • Experience in providing companionship
  • Ability to perform light cleaning tasks
