Big Data Design and Support Role

The Big Data Design and Support role at Futran Tech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. will be responsible for designing and building world-class high-volume real-time data ingestion and processing frameworks and advanced analytics on big data platforms.

As a key member of our team, you will research, develop, optimize, and innovate frameworks and patterns for enterprise-scale data analysis and computations as part of our Big Data ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Informatica Expertise: Strong knowledge and skills in Informatica Big Data Management, with a focus on designing and implementing high-performance data pipelines.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent business/technical oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Technical Expertise: Minimum 5 years of work experience in IT and Data ecosystems, with a strong background in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Scala, Python, R, and Pig.
  • Cloud Experience: 2+ years of experience developing solutions in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, etc.) with a focus on analytics stacks.
  • Big Data Streaming: 2+ years of experience in big data streaming frameworks, data processing, and real-time ingestion patterns.
  • Open Source Technologies: Experience working with and evaluating open source technologies, with the ability to make objective choices.
  • System Design: Experience architecting highly scalable, highly concurrent, and low-latency systems, with a focus on processing multiple petabytes of data.
  • Visualization Tools: Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, with a focus on creating data-driven insights.
  • Software Design: Knowledge of software/data design methods, data structures, and modeling standards.
  • DevOps Tools: Working experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools, with a focus on automating testing and deployment.
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with multiple cloud computing platforms, with a focus on designing and implementing scalable cloud-based solutions.
  • Data Streaming Technologies: Experience with more than one data streaming technology, with a focus on designing and implementing real-time data pipelines.
  • Machine Learning: Understanding of machine learning skills, including Apache Mahout and Spark MLib.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate complex architectures and insights in a clear, precise, and actionable manner.
