Job Summary

Harrison County Hospital is seeking a skilled Echocardiographer to join our Diagnostic Imaging team.

This is a PRN (as needed) position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting physician requests, performing ultrasound procedures, and maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret physician requests and perform ultrasound procedures
  • Conduct exams in a safe and comfortable manner for patients of all ages
  • Support the Diagnostic Imaging and Hospital customer service program
  • Assume additional duties and hours as needed to enhance departmental function
  • Render quality patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an approved Ultrasound program
  • On-the-job training with registration with ARDMS or ARRT within 1 year of meeting eligibility requirements
  • ARDMS, CCI registered or eligible

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Echo/Ultrasound procedures experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer knowledge
