The Registered Nurse is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of Tidelands Health.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients based on established standards of care and professional nursing practice.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify potential health risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust care plans as needed, and communicate effectively with patients and families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- Current and in good standing RN Licensure with South Carolina Board of Nursing.
- American Heart Association Healthcare provider course with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- ACLS preferred.
The Registered Nurse will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, interacting with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. The physical demands of this role include standing, sitting, and walking frequently, as well as occasional use of hands and fingers.
