Job Overview

The Chief Massage Therapy Practitioner plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional spa experiences through expert massage techniques and body therapies. Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to the policies and procedures of Guerlain Spa.
  • Deliver comprehensive and knowledgeable spa services to guests.
  • Exhibit respect and sensitivity towards guests' needs in a professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring it is well-stocked.
  • Provide tours of spa facilities to guests as necessary.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and guests.
  • Anticipate guest needs while upholding the standards of Guerlain Spa.
  • Report guest issues or complaints to the Spa Manager on Duty.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and disinfection standards.
  • Train and mentor new Service Providers on spa treatments.
  • Monitor and guide Service Providers to ensure adherence to service standards.
  • Manage professional product inventory and distribution.
  • Assist in maintaining Service Provider licenses and schedules.
  • Communicate maintenance and cleanliness issues to management.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current Massage Therapy License is mandatory.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospitality setting.
  • Authorized to work in the US.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Flexible schedule, including availability for on-call shifts.
  • Strong command of written and verbal English.
  • Proficient in Massage Theory, Anatomy, and Physiology.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
