About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neurotrauma ICU team at Carilion Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to a collaborative environment that values innovation, teamwork, and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care to patients of all ages, including those with complex medical conditions and neurological injuries.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Administer treatments and medications accurately, utilizing electronic medical records and automated systems.
  • Conduct age-specific assessments, develop plans of care, and revise plans as needed to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or approved program eligible for VA licensure.
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia or eligible to obtain licensure.
  • Obtain CPR, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as needed.
  • Proficient in electronic medical records and computer systems.
  • Meet essential job functions and successfully complete orientation and competency requirements.
