Avery Dennison Corporation, a leading materials science and digital identification solutions company, seeks a Polymer Development Scientist to join its Performance Polymer Divisions (PPD) technical team in Mill Hall, Pennsylvania.

This position involves supporting the development of acrylic polymers for the global pressure-sensitive adhesive market. The successful candidate will lead technical teams, innovate, and guide new product development from start to finish.

Responsibilities include conducting hands-on lab scale polymerizations and formulated prototypes of adhesives and coatings, setting up and conducting experiments, performing relevant application and analytical testing, translating new product requirements into actionable work plans, and transferring knowledge to project teams and R&D community.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science or related field and experience in synthesis, formulation, and scale-up of emulsion and solution acrylic polymers. Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously are also required.

We offer a competitive salary range between $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits such as health and wellness programs, paid parental leave, 401K matching, tuition reimbursement, flexible work arrangements, and employee assistance program.
