Job Summary

The District Inventory Auditor position at GPM Investments, LLC is responsible for conducting thorough physical inventories, generating accurate department audit reports, and reconciling computer data with physical counts. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audit and Inventory Management: Conduct front-line accounting reviews during retail inventory audits, collaborate with District Managers and Store Managers to identify store issues, and develop preliminary audit schedules.
  • Inventory Data Management: Assist Store Managers with invoice concerns, store organization, price adjustments, and abnormalities discovered in the system.
  • Visual Checklists: Conduct visual checklists at each store to detail store conditions, maintenance issues, safety concerns, marketing promotions, and loss prevention awareness.
  • Audit Reporting: Complete 15-20 retail inventory audits monthly, including data importing, processing, and uploading supporting documentation.
  • Accuracy and Integrity: Achieve established average per hour (APH) counting goals while ensuring accuracy and integrity of collected data.
  • Travel and Work Environment: Ability to work in various environments with potential exposure to cold and heat, and travel including occasional overnight stays.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Relate information clearly and accurately, verbally and in written form, in a positive manner that yields cooperation and builds partnerships.
  • Initiative and Innovation: Take initiative to explore and suggest new approaches that can impact quality and/or quantity of job performance and organizational effectiveness.
  • Additional Duties: Complete other job-related duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Frequent bending, counting on knees, and moving product up to 25lbs.
  • Computer Operations: Proficient in computer operations, including Microsoft Office and Open Office applications.
  • Travel and Transportation: Reliable transportation to perform audits throughout the assigned market.
  • Work Schedule: 40-50 hour workweek plus daily travel to/from store.
