The Kentucky Community and Technical College System is seeking applications for a full-time, term contract position for Admissions Advisor II.
This role is responsible for providing admissions guidance to prospective students, facilitating communication between the institution and potential enrollees, conducting community outreach as necessary, and offering academic advising to incoming students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver admissions counseling to prospective students by maintaining direct engagement with leads, applicants, and walk-ins to assist them in completing the admissions process and enrolling in courses. Maintain a database of prospective students and monitor their progress through the admissions pipeline.
• Enroll new students in their initial semester classes and assist current students in scheduling future advising sessions with designated faculty advisors.
• Help coordinate on-campus events and tours that highlight the college's programs and services.
• Participate in college fairs, festivals, high school events, etc., to support student recruitment initiatives.
• Assist in organizing special events, including new student orientation, registration events, student activities, and graduation ceremonies.
• Provide general guidance to students seeking assistance in navigating resources such as academic support services, mentoring and career counseling programs, mental and physical health services, and financial management resources.
• May support student programs aimed at diverse and targeted populations, including first-year students, transfer students, first-generation college students, and/or low-income college students.
• Create and disseminate communications to targeted student groups under general supervision.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree or two or more years of relevant experience.

Strong communication abilities.
