Job Overview

The Automotive Service Specialist is responsible for performing essential vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and replacements. Working under the supervision of a seasoned technician, this role involves executing preventive and scheduled maintenance, conducting thorough inspections, and accurately recording maintenance activities in our digital management system.

This position also entails maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the workshop, adhering to safety protocols, promoting company policies, and following environmental regulations. Additionally, the technician contributes to the shop's efficiency by handling inventory and performing various general tasks.

COMPENSATION

  • $16.50-$19.00 /hour

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and other minor maintenance tasks as directed
  • Conduct fluid checks and maintenance-related inspections, topping off or replacing fluids and filters as necessary
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of vehicle components and their interactions
  • Execute routine visual inspections, change engine oil and filters, and lubricate major components
  • Operate vehicles within the premises as required
  • Adapt to evolving automotive technologies
  • Comply with safety and environmental standards in maintenance operations
  • Document all service activities in the computerized maintenance management system

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid and unrestricted driver's license
  • Interest in automotive maintenance and repair
  • Some experience or training in the automotive repair field
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission
  • Willingness to learn and adhere to established procedures
  • Strong collaborative skills
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Minimal mechanical tools required
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
