Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist our journeyman and apprentices in various electrical tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering tools and supplies, measuring and cutting wire and conduit, and performing minor repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and organize tools and supplies for work sites
- Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit
- Drill holes for wiring and pull or push wiring through openings
- Assist in lifting, positioning, and fastening objects
- Perform minor repairs, such as replacing fuses and light sockets
- Maintain tools and equipment, and keep supplies and parts in order
- Disassemble defective electrical equipment, replace parts, and reassemble
- Clean work areas, machines, tools, and equipment
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation
- Basic electrician's hand tools
- Ability to work with hands and multitask
- Some electrical knowledge helpful
- Valid state motor vehicle operator's license and clear driving record
- Applicable state certification
