Job Overview

MSI Viking is a leading provider of precision measuring technologies, offering a wide range of metrology products and services. Our focus is on delivering customized solutions that meet the unique needs of our customers.

As a Calibration Technician at MSI Viking, you will calibrate metrology equipment to A2LA/ISO17025 standards. You will perform manual and automated calibration and testing processes for dimensional gages, hand tools, torque, pressure, and/or electronic gages. You will also update tracking software and generate certifications with calibration results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform calibration and testing of metrology equipment to A2LA/ISO17025 standards
  • Update tracking software and generate certifications with calibration results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customized solutions
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of metrology services and industry standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Calibration Technician
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Familiarity with metrology services
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to reason and negotiate complex problems with customers
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bending, kneeling, and prolonged standing
