Patient Care Tech EMT Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Care Tech EMT to join our team at Methodist ER Nacogdoches. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive work environment.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this position is $43,000-$62,000 based on experience and location. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as 401(k) matching and paid time off.
Job Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care by performing delegated basic tasks related to nursing functions and activities of daily living.
- Assist the nursing staff in implementing care plans and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
- Participate in data collection and recording, including vital signs, intake/output, and other patient information.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and discharges, demonstrating proper body mechanics.
- Collect specimens for diagnostic tests and ensure accuracy of labels and timely transfer.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 60 months of employment start date.
- BCLS certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 90 days of employment start date.
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 60 months of employment start date.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Paramedic (EMT-P) certifications preferred.
