We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Lead Surgical Technician to join our team at Adventist HealthCare. As a Certified Lead Surgical Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Operating Room, providing exceptional patient care, and collaborating with our healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate daily service line procedures, including equipment, supplies, and staff management.
- Troubleshoot technical or patient issues related to procedures, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to patient care.
- Facilitate needs for future cases, including special equipment and vendor support, to ensure seamless execution of procedures.
- Act as a liaison with sterile processing, ensuring timely delivery of sterile supplies and equipment.
- Provide guidance and support to staff, serving as a resource and mentor to ensure optimal performance and patient care.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including scrubbing, providing breaks and lunch relief, and assisting with turnovers.
- Support cost containment initiatives, collaborating with our supply chain team to optimize equipment and supply usage.
- Modify and revise surgeon's preference cards as needed, ensuring accuracy and consistency in patient care.
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technician program.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Certified Surgical Technician.
- CST Certification required, with the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire date.
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm.
