Pizza Artisan

Position Overview:

As a vital member of our kitchen team, you will report directly to the Shift Leader or Division Leader. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all food items are prepared according to our high standards, adhering to sanitation and food handling protocols. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional pizzas to our customers in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to company standards for meal preparation, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
• Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and a variety of toppings including vegetables and meats.
• Monitor oven temperatures and cooking durations to guarantee quality.
• Create high-quality pizzas following established recipes.
• Manage inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the Shift Leader.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations before and after food preparation.
• Ensure all utensils and cooking equipment are sanitized prior to use.
• Package pizzas appropriately for delivery.
• Handle food order slips, ensuring timely completion of customer orders.
• Prepare ingredients for the next shift as needed.
• Assist with various food preparation tasks as required.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain smooth operational flow.
• Effectively communicate any customer concerns or requests to the leadership team.
• Wear the designated uniform and maintain a professional appearance.
• Ensure a safe working environment when handling cooking utensils.
• Keep the kitchen organized, including sweeping and mopping as necessary.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked restaurant to enhance customer experience.
• Work cohesively as part of a team, supporting and communicating with colleagues.
• Safeguard company assets.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be available to work weekends, demonstrate self-motivation, and exhibit strong organizational skills. A positive attitude and professionalism in interactions with customers and team members are essential.

Candidates should be able to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods during their shifts. Effective multi-tasking and time management skills are required.
