Handyperson

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Handyperson to join our Wegmans Facilities team. As a Handyperson, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our stores, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers and employees.

• Conduct regular inspections of the store and grounds to identify repair opportunities and ensure a safe and clean environment
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on store equipment and facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks
• Collaborate with the store maintenance team and leadership to execute a preventative maintenance program and troubleshoot emergency issues
• Assist with small projects and tasks as needed to support the store's maintenance and operations

• Previous mechanical or related experience
• Experience with mechanical/technical projects, including home improvements and general repair/handyman work
• Basic computer skills and knowledge
