We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at a not-for-profit general medical and surgical hospital in Western Arizona. This hospital has a reputation for excellence in patient safety, quality, and performance, and we are looking for a dedicated professional to contribute to our laboratory team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, including microbiology, serology, chemistry, urinalysis, hematology, and blood banking.
- Work in all departments/areas of the lab, including Microbiology, Serology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Hematology, and Blood bank.
- Collaborate with other laboratory professionals to ensure accurate and timely test results.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement processes to improve laboratory efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology/Technician or related field.
- AMT or ASCP certification (or equivalent) required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
