We are seeking a highly skilled Ocean Import Specialist to join our team at Savino Del Bene, a leading global freight forwarding company. As a key member of our ocean import team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of import documentation, coordination with carriers and customers, and provision of exceptional customer service.

• Process and review import documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with carriers, customers, and agents to ensure timely release of goods.
• Obtain and create quotes for shipments, sourcing the best method of transportation.
• Work with brokerage or CFS to monitor the release of goods from carriers, Customs, or other governmental agencies.
• Communicate with overseas agents to ensure proper pre-alerts and documentation.
• Continuously explore options to reduce costs and increase revenues.
• Track and trace shipments, providing updates to clients and sales teams.
• Maintain strong relationships with airlines, transportation agencies, and sales teams.
• Demonstrate a commitment to customer satisfaction and company policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
