Milwaukee Nursing and Rehab is seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Unit Manager to lead our nursing team in providing exceptional care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in ensuring quality nursing care to all residents/patients, supporting and practicing the philosophy, nursing objectives and standards of the Department of Nursing.
- Ensure that the nursing department is adequately staffed to provide quality care to patients/residents.
- Develop and implement in-service/staff development programs that contribute to meeting nursing objectives and standards and comply with all state and federal regulations.
- Provide clinical expertise to facilitate and support the nursing process in patient/resident interventions.
- Assist in ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for patients/residents, employees and visitors.
- Exercise administrative and functional supervision over nursing personnel as directed by the Director of Nursing and Assistant DON.
- A minimum of 1-2 years' management experience.
- A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Valid RN nursing license in the state of Wisconsin.
