Job Overview
The Alaska Teacher Placement is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Elementary Principal to join our team. As an Education Leader, you will be responsible for implementing and managing the policies, regulations, and procedures of the Alaska Board of Education.

School Environment

Key Responsibilities
The Elementary Principal will oversee the implementation of curriculum, coordinate services that support student growth and development, provide for staffing and professional development, and use assessment and evaluation information to make informed decisions. Additionally, the role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, and a commitment to achieving academic excellence.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, applicants must possess a master's degree in educational leadership or a closely related field, a valid Alaska type B administrative certificate with an endorsement including elementary grade levels, and a valid Alaska teaching (initial, professional, or master) or Alaska Type C special services certificate. A minimum of three years of successful public school experience, preferably at the elementary level, is also required.

Benefits
The Anchorage School District offers a competitive salary range of $110,162 - $126,541, based on the APA negotiated pay scale, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
