Position Summary:
The TIG Welder will demonstrate proficiency in ASME quality standards across various welding techniques, including Stick (SMAW), Flux Core (FCAW), and TIG (GTAW). This role involves interpreting P&IDs and blueprints to effectively join, fit, fabricate, and assemble tanks and heaters according to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cut surfaces or components as required.
  • Layout, position, fit, tack, weld, and finish various parts or products in accordance with established methods and specifications.
  • Utilize overhead cranes, clamps, jigs, and fixtures to handle and position heavy components.
  • Weld in various positions including flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in TIG welding.
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Experience with forklifts, overhead cranes, and rigging is essential.
  • Successful completion of a weld test is required.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret detailed technical drawings.
