Job Description

Hantz Group, a Michigan-based financial company, seeks a skilled Financial Strategist to join its team. As a key member of the organization, you will work closely with financial advisors to develop comprehensive financial strategies that minimize clients' tax liabilities.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of tax planning principles and be able to analyze complex financial data to identify opportunities for tax savings. You will also be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns, as well as collaborating with other specialists to deliver exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze tax liability and develop strategies to minimize it
  • Prepare and file tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
  • Collaborate with financial advisors to develop comprehensive financial plans
  • Provide exceptional client service and support
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in tax planning and preparation
  • Active Enrolled Agent or Certified Public Accountant license
  • Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
  • Experience with CCH Axcess Software preferred
