Job Summary

The Production Assembler II is a key role within our manufacturing team, responsible for assembling electrical, electronic systems, and support structures. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements for assembly.
  • Assemble electrical, electronic systems, or support structures using various tools and equipment, including rivets, bolts, soldering, or micro-welding tools.
  • Adjust, repair, or replace electrical, electronic components to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Position, align, or adjust workpieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring and assembly.
  • Explain assembly procedures or techniques to others.
  • Perform functional test procedures as appropriate.
  • Read and comprehend a bill of materials and drawings.
  • Perform set-ups using basic tools, jigs, and tests.
  • Review equipment protocols necessary within setup with a sense of complexity.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in manufacturing.
  • Technical and business knowledge to include financial modeling and analysis using Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications, including Word and PowerPoint.
  • Prior experience with ERP environments and planning in database tools required.
Physical Demands
  • Keying, typing, sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, or lifting up to 50lbs.
  • Constant mental and/or visual attention; the work is either repetitive or diversified requiring constant alertness in a manufacturing environment.
  • The job is typically performed under comfortable working conditions; any disagreeable elements are generally absent during normal performance of the job.
