The Production Assembler II is a key role within our manufacturing team, responsible for assembling electrical, electronic systems, and support structures. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements for assembly.
- Assemble electrical, electronic systems, or support structures using various tools and equipment, including rivets, bolts, soldering, or micro-welding tools.
- Adjust, repair, or replace electrical, electronic components to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Position, align, or adjust workpieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring and assembly.
- Explain assembly procedures or techniques to others.
- Perform functional test procedures as appropriate.
- Read and comprehend a bill of materials and drawings.
- Perform set-ups using basic tools, jigs, and tests.
- Review equipment protocols necessary within setup with a sense of complexity.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in manufacturing.
- Technical and business knowledge to include financial modeling and analysis using Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications, including Word and PowerPoint.
- Prior experience with ERP environments and planning in database tools required.
- Keying, typing, sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, or lifting up to 50lbs.
- Constant mental and/or visual attention; the work is either repetitive or diversified requiring constant alertness in a manufacturing environment.
- The job is typically performed under comfortable working conditions; any disagreeable elements are generally absent during normal performance of the job.
