**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Regional Health Services of Howard County. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive mental health services to patients and community members, working closely with physicians, hospital staff, and other healthcare professionals.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide psychological testing, therapy, consultation, and medication management services to promote mental health and well-being.
  • Act as a resource to physicians, hospital staff, and the community in developing awareness of psychological principles and best practices.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Prescribe and manage medications as needed, working closely with patients and their families.

**Requirements:**

  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in Iowa.
