Job Summary:

A skilled assembler is required to work with precision and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have experience with mechanical and electrical components, as well as the ability to read blueprints and work with various hand tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and assemble mechanical and electrical components, including windshields, electronic and plumbing components, and motors.
  • Study blueprints and plans to determine the sequence of operations and ensure accurate assembly.
  • Position parts and subassemblies using templates or measurements.
  • Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts and subassemblies.
  • Verify specifications by measuring completed components and resolving any assembly problems.
  • Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements:
  • Mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation experience.
  • Engine/motor experience, preferably in the marine industry.
  • Solid judgment and decision-making skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Blueprint reading and basic mechanical education.
  • 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements and Environment:

The ideal candidate must be physically capable of safely lifting a minimum of 50 lbs. without assistance. The role involves standing, squatting, bending, and twisting for long periods as required.
