Job Title: Environmental Scientist

We are looking for a highly motivated Environmental Scientist to work at our Richmond, VA office location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, regulation, and permitting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and submit permits for federal and state waters.
  • Collaborate with senior scientists and project managers to ensure project compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with regulatory agencies to facilitate permitting and project completion.
Desirable Skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental science, environmental law, or policy-related discipline.
  • Two to four years of experience in Environmental Science.
  • Familiarity with natural resources, particularly wetland and stream permitting, and associated regulatory processes.
  • Strong understanding of surface water regulations in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • Familiarity with threatened and endangered species regulations and cultural resource management is an asset.

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
