Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our team at our Dearborn, Michigan location. As a Teacher, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational journey of our young students and supporting their growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement our curriculum and state requirements in a way that meets the unique needs of each child, creating a safe and nurturing environment for learning and growth.
  • Partner with parents to provide the best possible care and education for their children, fostering strong relationships and open communication.
  • Support the success of our center, working collaboratively with staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, and community contacts, promoting a culture of excellence and customer service.
Qualifications
  • Excellent customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
  • Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC and state Pre-K candidacy requirements.
  • Meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
  • Ability to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
  • Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
  • Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English.
