Core Responsibilities:
  • Manage incoming calls, direct them appropriately, and take messages as necessary.
  • Welcome visitors and residents upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere.
  • Offer assistance and information to visitors and residents, including guidance and details about the facility.
  • Keep the reception area tidy and organized, ensuring brochures and informational materials are well-stocked.
  • Address resident concerns and complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Oversee the handling of incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and packages.
  • Coordinate appointments, update schedules, and maintain accurate records.
  • Conduct data entry and other administrative functions as required.
  • Monitor and manage the inventory of office supplies.
  • Ensure adherence to all facility policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in skilled nursing facilities, is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity to the needs of residents and their families.
  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer, telephone, and other office equipment.
