  • Work with drone data, including Ortho mosaic and photogrammetry, applying relevant algorithms using Python libraries.

Geospatial data:

  • Utilize GDAL (Geospatial Data Abstraction Library) for processing and analyzing geospatial data.
  • Understand and work with Cesium and 3D concepts for geospatial applications.

Other responsibilities as assigned by the New Tech Lab Director.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). A Master's degree is preferred.
  2. At least 10 years of experience in software programming or a similar role.
  3. Experience with other frontend frameworks or libraries.
  4. Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker.
  5. Strong proficiency in backend technologies such as Ruby on Rails and Python.
  6. Hands-on experience with frontend technologies.
  7. Experience with cloud services, particularly GCP and AWS.
  8. Familiarity with microservices architecture and OAuth2 authentication.
  9. Experience in writing and maintaining test cases.
  10. Understanding of AI concepts and ability to implement AI solutions.
  11. Experience with drone data, orthomosaic, and photogrammetry.
  12. Proficiency in Python libraries for 2D data processing and analysis.
  13. In-depth understanding of GDAL for geospatial data processing.
  14. Knowledge of Cesium and 3D concepts.
  15. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
  16. Strong communication skills with the ability to discuss and articulate technical approaches effectively.
  17. Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.

Working Conditions:

  1. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  2. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
