Job Summary:

Are you a seasoned RN supervisor seeking a challenging role where you can make a meaningful impact? Look no further than the Arizona Department of Veterans' Services in Yuma. As a Nursing Supervisor, you will provide critical leadership and clinical oversight to ensure the highest level of care for our veterans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct nursing staff to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Conduct regular rounds to monitor patient care and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Provide guidance and support to nursing staff on clinical issues and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with facility policies, state and federal regulations, and VA guidelines.
  • Participate in quality assurance audits and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Respond to emergency situations and take appropriate action to ensure patient safety.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing Services and Administrator to address significant issues and concerns.
Requirements:
  • Current RN license in the State of Arizona.
  • One or more years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting.
  • Ability to obtain and retain a fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive on state business.
