Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate STNA to join our team at Seasons Retirement Community. As a STNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
  • Measure and record height, weight, and fluid intake/output to monitor residents' health.
  • Recognize and report any abnormal changes in body functioning to a supervisor.
  • Assist with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, and other activities of daily living to promote residents' independence.
  • Transfer, position, and turn residents safely and with care.
  • Provide skin care and promote wound healing.
  • Contribute to the resident's assessment and plan of care to ensure individualized attention.
  • Provide nursing rehabilitation and restorative nursing services to support residents' recovery.
  • Care for residents with dementia, using person-centered approaches to promote their well-being.
  • Follow the schedule of residents' needs set out by the supervisor to ensure timely care.
  • Provide emotional and social support to residents, promoting their dignity and respect.
  • Promote and protect residents' rights, assisting them to make informed decisions and maintain their independence.
  • Inform the supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
  • Respect and encourage residents' independence and dignity.
  • Respect residents' confidentiality and maintain their trust.
  • Familiarize yourself with emergency equipment and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings to stay up-to-date on best practices.
  • Maintain a safe working environment through accident prevention, equipment preservation, and safe working practices.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures of Seasons Retirement Community.
Qualifications
  • A High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working in a skilled, sub-acute, assisted living, or memory care setting.
  • CNA licensure if required by state.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
  • Dedicated, compassionate, and energetic.
  • English fluency preferred.
