STNA Skilled Nursing Part-Time 7AM-7PM

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate STNA to join our team at Seasons Retirement Community. As a STNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Measure and record height, weight, and fluid intake/output to monitor residents' health.
- Recognize and report any abnormal changes in body functioning to a supervisor.
- Assist with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, and other activities of daily living to promote residents' independence.
- Transfer, position, and turn residents safely and with care.
- Provide skin care and promote wound healing.
- Contribute to the resident's assessment and plan of care to ensure individualized attention.
- Provide nursing rehabilitation and restorative nursing services to support residents' recovery.
- Care for residents with dementia, using person-centered approaches to promote their well-being.
- Follow the schedule of residents' needs set out by the supervisor to ensure timely care.
- Provide emotional and social support to residents, promoting their dignity and respect.
- Promote and protect residents' rights, assisting them to make informed decisions and maintain their independence.
- Inform the supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
- Respect and encourage residents' independence and dignity.
- Respect residents' confidentiality and maintain their trust.
- Familiarize yourself with emergency equipment and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings to stay up-to-date on best practices.
- Maintain a safe working environment through accident prevention, equipment preservation, and safe working practices.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures of Seasons Retirement Community.
- A High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working in a skilled, sub-acute, assisted living, or memory care setting.
- CNA licensure if required by state.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Dedicated, compassionate, and energetic.
- English fluency preferred.
