Position Overview
Under general supervision, the Licensed Clinical Psychologist engages in professional-level activities within the field of clinical psychology. This role involves conducting psychodiagnostic assessments and providing psychotherapy for individuals experiencing emotional disturbances, mental health issues, substance use disorders, and developmental delays in both children and adults.

Key Responsibilities
The Licensed Clinical Psychologist is responsible for a variety of essential functions, including:

  • Delivering direct clinical services, which encompass conducting comprehensive evaluations for both children and adults.
  • Providing individual and group psychotherapy, along with counseling services tailored to the needs of clients.
  • Preparing detailed clinical psychological reports that outline diagnostic findings, interview results, and treatment recommendations.
  • Selecting, administering, and interpreting psychological assessments across various domains, including intelligence, personality, and achievement.
  • Conducting diagnostic interviews to evaluate the conditions of clients and support their recovery objectives.

Collaboration and Consultation
Engagement with a range of professionals is a critical aspect of this role. The psychologist will:

  • Review and analyze records from social agencies, educational institutions, and legal entities.
  • Consult with social workers, healthcare providers, educators, and other relevant professionals regarding case management and treatment strategies.

Community Engagement
In addition to clinical responsibilities, the psychologist will:

  • Provide educational resources and consultations to community organizations on topics related to mental health, substance use, and developmental challenges.

Supervision and Training
This position also includes supervisory duties, such as:

  • Overseeing psychology interns and junior clinical staff.
  • Facilitating training programs for both clinic personnel and external agency staff.

Professional Development
Participation in the planning and execution of psychology training internships and postdoctoral programs under the guidance of a licensed psychologist is also required.
