Dietary Aide

We are seeking a Part-time Dietary Aide to join our team at Premier Genesee Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation in Batavia, NY.

• Prepare and/or assist in the preparation of meals, beverages, and snacks.
• Deliver trays and carts to resident floors and dining rooms.
• Assemble resident meal trays.
• Work in the dish room and pot sink.
• Sweep and mop.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables.
• Follow proper cleaning techniques of all kitchen equipment and work areas.
• Perform other job-related duties as required.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English, follow directions, and complete tasks.
• Ability to interact positively with residents, families, clients, center staff, and the public.
• Ability to lift/carry a maximum of fifty pounds, push/pull a maximum of fifty pounds, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
