Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Inpatient Registered Nurse to join our team at the University of Utah Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care, work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care, communicate effectively, and provide education to patients and families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
  • Provide emotional support and empathy to patients and families, promoting a positive and respectful care environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical knowledge, research, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Utah or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year of hire.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, handle sensitive information, and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
