Position Overview:

The Physical Therapist is accountable to the Rehabilitative Services department for executing therapy programs and contributing to the overall functionality of the department. This role emphasizes delivering courteous, precise, and timely service to our clients.

Compensation: $33.00 - $38.00 per hour

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is mandatory.
  • A valid Ohio physical therapist license from the Ohio OT, PT, ATC Board is required.
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is necessary or must be obtained within three months of employment.

Key Responsibilities:

The Physical Therapist will:

  • Deliver effective and high-quality physical therapy treatments to all assigned patients.
  • Communicate patient needs, progress, and concerns through comprehensive documentation and verbal updates to interdisciplinary team members.
  • Provide effective oversight to Physical Therapist Assistants to ensure the quality of patient care.
  • Document patient assessments and treatment outcomes in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Supervise Physical Therapy Aides in assisting with patient activities.
  • Assist in scheduling and organizing activities within the Physical Therapy Department.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
