Ultrasound Technologist Job Description

Solomon Page is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join their team in Albany, Georgia.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound equipment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and answer questions
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient procedures and results
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ultrasound technology and techniques

Requirements:

  • Certificate from an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
