  • Develop and Facilitate Training Sessions: Create and deliver training programs to support tax department training and mentoring initiatives.
  • Provide Expert Guidance: Respond to questions and information requests from team members in a timely and professional manner.
  • Update Training Documents: Create and update training documents to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • One-on-One Training and Mentoring: Provide one-on-one training and mentoring to associates to support their professional development.
  • Support Tax Planning Strategies: Support the development of tax planning strategies by providing business financial facts, researching tax rules, and performing technical analysis.
  • Manage Tax Returns and Reporting: Manage low- to medium-complexity federal and state tax returns, forms, and reporting of operations.
  • Partner with Stakeholders: Partner with stakeholders to determine opportunities for and ensure application of tax credits.
  • Support Tax Planning Execution: Support the execution of tax planning by updating tax analysis and working with tax leadership.
  • Present Tax Results: Present tax results to senior management and discuss tax issues with business teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 years' experience in accounting, finance, income tax compliance, or a related area.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • License to Practice Law: License to practice law in at least one state.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA): Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Certificate.
  • Masters Degree: Masters degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, or Law.
