Cadet Room Instructor

The Cadet Room Instructor is responsible for providing social maturation services to Boys & Girls Clubs' members aged 7-9 years old. This is achieved through the implementation of a weekly program plan that includes tournaments, contests, group goal-setting, secret file folders, and other planned activities.
Job Responsibilities:- Plan and conduct daily tournaments and contests.
- Organize and lead table games and improvised games.
- Implement low-organized "for fun" contests.
- Facilitate file folder activities twice weekly.
- Lead simple crafts projects weekly.
- Conduct group goal-setting club meetings weekly.
- Implement group goal-setters reward activities weekly.
- Lead second group club meetings weekly.
- Implement motivational contests daily.
- Supervise activity sheets and free play.
- Maintain attractive and up-to-date bulletin boards and displays.
- Post and be knowledgeable of building emergency procedures.
- Secure the Cadet Room area at all times.
- Supervise members in hallways and adjacent areas.
- Maintain equipment and make minor repairs.
- Ensure the area is clean and chairs are stacked at closing.
