Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients undergoing orthopedic surgery, including pre- and post-operative care, wound management, and pain management.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct vital signs, administer medications, and perform other nursing tasks as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Current LPN licensure in the state of Missouri and/or Illinois.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 1 year of recent clinical or hospital experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in orthopedic surgery or a related field.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A competitive salary range of $20.57 - $30.84 per hour.
