Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our team in the Orthopedic Surgery department. As an LPN, you will provide high-quality patient care, work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the smooth operation of our clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to patients undergoing orthopedic surgery, including pre- and post-operative care, wound management, and pain management.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct vital signs, administer medications, and perform other nursing tasks as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Current LPN licensure in the state of Missouri and/or Illinois.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • 1 year of recent clinical or hospital experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in orthopedic surgery or a related field.
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
