Job Overview:

The Manor At Greendale seeks an experienced Breathing Therapy Professional to lead our Respiratory Care Program. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive respiratory care services to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and optimal health outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide expert training and technical support to staff members, enhancing their skills and confidence in respiratory care modalities.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote effective communication and teamwork, ensuring seamless care delivery.
  • Stay current with industry developments and advancements, participating in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.
Key Requirements:
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification or equivalent experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain within six months of employment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and priorities.
  • Experience in long-term care and adult education settings highly desirable.
