Midwife Care Provider

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Nurse Midwife to provide comprehensive primary health care to pregnant women.
Responsibilities- Perform accurate history and physical examinations, concluding with diagnosis and treatment of essentially healthy women.
- Provide primary care to pregnant women, including ordering and evaluation of diagnostic tests and management of minor complications.
- Deliver inpatient and outpatient obstetrical care for essentially healthy women.
- Develop individualized client teaching and counseling plans, providing anticipatory guidance for the current identified problem, weeks' gestation, and social/cultural situation.
- Maintain accurate documentation and billing encounter forms.
- Supervise and instruct medical students and residents as assigned, ensuring a positive learning environment.
- Holds current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
- Possesses current certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife or Licensed Midwife.
- Graduated from an accredited Nursing program or earned a Master's degree in Nurse Midwifery.
- Minimum of two years or more of nurse midwifery experience.
- BCLS certification is required.
