Maintenance Operations Specialist

Job Title: Residential Property Care Coordinator
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year
EIG Services LLC is a growing agency that supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in leading independent, fulfilling lives. As a Residential Property Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining the residential homes, ensuring they operate efficiently and making repairs as needed to prevent problems from worsening.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position and possess excellent interpersonal skills to interact with employees and residents in a pleasant manner. You will also need to have valid driver's license and personal vehicle for company business.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the maintenance of company vehicles
- Work with contractors to ensure timely completion of projects
- Troubleshoot and make routine repairs in painting, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry areas
- Assess and propose when to contact external contractors for repairs
- Perform landscaping and snow removal tasks
- Resolve and complete work orders on time
- Maintain essential tools and equipment
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-year experience in a similar position required
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Valid Driver's License and personal vehicle for company business
- Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs, or other drainage problems
- Basic electrical wiring capabilities to manage problems with building electricity
- Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs around the building
- Groundskeeping skills for locations with lawns or outdoor areas in need of maintenance
- Interpersonal skills to interact with employees and residents in a pleasant manner
- Attention to detail to ensure all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner
