Job Summary:

As an MRI Technologist at Cambridge Health Alliance, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your technical knowledge and clinical skills to perform a wide range of MRI procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Competently perform MRI exams in accordance with accepted standards of practice, including administering contrast agents.

• Manage department workflow to ensure safe and timely care of all patients.

• Adhere to TJC, ACR, and departmental standards.

• Provide patients with reassurance to assure patient cooperation required for quality exams.

• Provide complete documentation for patient care.

• Maintain appropriate CEUs for continued registry by ARRT.

• Interact professionally with a diverse stream of patients, family, and other staff at all times.

Requirements:

• ARRT Registered or registry eligible. If registry eligible, must be registered in MRI within 6 months of hire.

• Primary or secondary certification by the ARRT in MRI.

• BCLS certification required.

• Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

• Experience with Siemens, Epic, and McKesson PACS strongly preferred.
